Yesterday, #OpenAI has officially launched #GPT-4.5, bringing improvements in knowledge depth, language fluency, and accuracy over its predecessor, GPT-4o.

Below are the improvements that I can see when comparing 4.5 with the previous models:

1️⃣ More Knowledge, Fewer Mistakes:
👉 GPT-4.5 has the lowest hallucination rate so far—19%, down from 20% in GPT-4o​. Though just a point drop, it is still significant.
👉 In PersonQA benchmarks, which test fact-based responses, accuracy increased from 55% (GPT-4o) to 78%​

2️⃣ More Human-Like & Intuitive Conversations: It has better understanding of human intent with enhanced emotional intelligence.

3️⃣ Improved Writing, Coding & Creative Abilities (compared to previous GPT model and now with Sonnet):
👉 Better at explaining complex topics concisely.
👉 Improved stylistic intuition for writing and creative tasks.
👉 Code generation is more efficient, with fewer logic errors.

4️⃣ Better Multilingual Capabilities: Outperforms GPT-4o in 14 languages, including Chinese (86.9% accuracy), Hindi (85.8%), and Arabic (85.9%)​

5️⃣ Improved Safety & Alignment: Enhanced security against jailbreaks and adversarial attacks. It also has introduced new alignment techniques to ensure the model follows user intent more precisely​.
